An Illinois native, Karla graduated from Wheaton College in 1989 with a degree in Exercise Science. Her passion for exercise, kinesiology and the older adult population led her to a retirement community where she taught exercise classes and did personal training for 18 years. During that time, a love and respect for massage therapy took hold as she began to understand that wellness involves not only our physical needs of exercise and proper nutrition, but also the ability to care for our mental, social and spiritual needs.

In 2008, Karla became a licensed and nationally certified massage therapist from the Wellness and Massage Training Institute in Illinois. She started her own private massage business as well as incorporating therapeutic massage to the wellness offerings at the retirement community.

Karla specializes in a variety of massage modalities including deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, sports massage, joint mobilization/range of motion techniques, geriatric massage, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, and Ashi-Thai.

Her philosophy is to provide the gift of touch in an atmosphere that resembles a peaceful retreat. The modalities used will be customized to fit the needs and choices of individual clients with the end goal of feeling rejuvenated and able to breathe more deeply as they leave.

Other personal interests include cycling, running, outdoor activities, strength training, and spending time with her husband and three boys.

I am a “military brat,” born and raised in Germany. I’ve also lived in California and Virginia. I enjoy traveling and have been to Trinidad, Tobago, France and the Czech Republic. My dream vacation is to visit Finca Bellavista Costa Rica, a self sustained treehouse community.

I have 2 beautiful children whom I live for.

I served in the USAF for 4 years where I loaded missiles and maintained weapons systems on F-15 aircraft. After the Air Force, I started midwifery school and massage therapy school. I received my certification in Neuromuscular Therapy from Colorado Institute Of Massage Therapy in Colorado Springs.

My favorite massage modalities are specific muscle re-education and neuromuscular therapy for injury and rehab. Neck and shoulder work is my forte! I also love geriatric work. I hope to serve veterans using massage therapy as a tool to improve their quality of life.

I’m passionate about massage therapy as it has a uniquely special way of connecting the mind, body and soul. Emotional and physical pain manifests itself in our bodies. Massage is a great way to address and unlock your pain. It is indeed ALL connected.

Quotes and a cool fact from my clients:
“She always finds the spot and the area I didn’t know that contributed to my pain.”
“That was incredible, It was different from any other massage I’ve had.”
I once stopped someone’s chronic hiccups with a neuromuscular treatment! It really works!

My philosophy on healing: Allow me to serve you in ways that I know how.

As a licensed massage therapist with an Associates of Occupational Studies degree from the Colorado School of Healing Arts, Jeremy is passionate about educating and supporting people who are looking for drug-free ways to manage pain and relieve stress. With certifications in Cranial-Sacral Therapy and Lymphatic Drainage, as well as training in Sports Massage, Prenatal, Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Neuromuscular, he integrates a variety of light and deep techniques in his approach to bodywork.

Having experienced firsthand the benefits of using massage therapy, Jeremy has a strong desire to help support people living with chronic pain. His experience includes working with clients that suffer from Fibromyalgia, chronic headaches, whiplash, sciatic pain, TMJD, and pain from injuries. Some of the most rewarding work he has done is with clients that suffer from Multiple Sclerosis.

In his spare time he is either playing with animals or reading books. One of his greatest privileges was to go through massage school with his wife, Karen.

Laurel Valli moved to Colorado after spending two wonderful years on the Big Island of Hawaii where she learned that the aloha spirit is all about treating people with care and compassion. Her professional approach to massage embraces the spirit of aloha.

After a rewarding long term career in Human Resources where she enjoyed focusing on meeting employee needs, she had the opportunity to alter her life path and learn new skills aligned with alternative health and wellness helping others through the healing modality of therapeutic massage. Partnering with clients the goal is to allow the body to connect pathways of physical, mental, and emotional energy reminding the body of its natural state of being perfect, whole and complete.

Laurel has received training in Myofascial Release (John F. Barnes trained). She is very excited to join the practitioners at Cornerstone Wellness & Medical Massage in Littleton, CO and she looks forward to supporting you on your journey to wellness.

I have a passion in helping others find the healing they need whether it’s from an accident, injury or chronic pain. It’s humbling to have the opportunity to be part of someone’s healing process. I meet each client where they are along their path and encourage healing for the spirit, soul and body. I specialize in deep tissue as well as craniosacral therapy.

I attended the University of Colorado Denver, earning my BS degree in Biology and have worked in a variety of jobs doing biological research. These ranged from a Marine Mammal Observer, living on seismic vessels for 4-6 weeks at a time to being a Microbiology Lab Technician performing tasks related to the sterility process of analyzing human donor organs.

Next I attended Colorado School of Healing Arts in Lakewood, CO, earning my degree and license in massage therapy.

Currently, I am completing a Physical Therapy Assistant Associate Degree at PIMA Medical Institute in Denver, CO.

I enjoy working with youth soccer teams, being a bible school leader for kids at my church, as well as hiking and other outdoor activities.
